I have spent the weekend in another #RPG rabbit hole and found old school renaissance games. Those are lightweight as I remember them when I first played the first edition of the german Das schwarze Auge.

The rules are simple, death is immanent, a lot is left to the referee to flesh out.

Especially #mausritter website has touched me and I have been thinking about running campaings with it with the child.
