I am confused about all the different versions of the Traveller #ttrpg out there. I still have a rulebook from Fanpro in German. https://wiki.travellerrpg.com/German_Traveller-_Core_I_Basic_Rules Is this still good, should I switch? I don't have any supplements besides the core book and two adventure modules.

Currently the most played "variant" is Mongoose Traveller 2nd Edition. All other variants are also still played, but not as common anymore. Then there is also now the Cepheus Engine, a Open Rule System based on OGL Mongoose Traveller 1st Edition. The TravellerRPG Discord Server is very firendly: https://discord.gg/exqW759 and will be able to help you out much more 🙂 So where to get "*ALL*" the Rulebooks: marc Millers www.farfuture.net offers really good deals on the older traveller books. The Website still says CDs but if you mail him an email before purchasing and ask for a USB or download link instead he will do that. I got my Mongoose Traveller Books from a bundle sale on www.bundleofholding.com a while back. I hope this helps 🙂
